For this project in particular the goal was to create a calendar that was not like the traditional grid-based calendar. When thinking about how I would create this calendar I thought to myself, what things already exist in the world that do not rely on a grid and got to thinking about fish hooks/lures since people collect them. The lures are not usually all in one line, they are scattered everywhere.
My calendar was picked for the Follow the Fish Organization back at Lorain County Community College (LCCC), now referred to as Fire Fish. The coordinator of the group wanted to take individual lures and assign them to each month. The staff created individual calendar cards displaying one of the lures for each month. It was a great experience.
